“My husband and I are both well-educated. He has a PhD in Mathematics. I have a B.A. in Chemistry and have completed four and one-half years of graduate study. We both felt comfortable that we were able to teach our children at home. Nevertheless, the logistics of how to actually accomplish it were daunting. There is a plethora of excellent curricula out there, but trying to put together a cohesive homeschooling program for three different children at three different stages of development was intimidating. The program at MODG was suggested to us by a homeschooling friend, and it proved to be a great blessing. It turned out we did not have to reinvent the wheel! Your program was “good to go ", even for three children (not to mention their mother!) who were used to the highly structured traditional school environment. We have been with MODG for all of our seven-plus years of homeschooling. We homeschooled my eldest son and daughter through 12th grade. The MODG program enabled my son to graduate early from high school. He started in the Honors Program at The Ohio State University in 2005 at the age of 17, and is currently a senior Honors Physics major at the Ohio State University. My eldest daughter is currently a freshman in the Honors Biology program at The Ohio State University. We truly believe that the MODG program was instrumental in enabling us to prepare our two eldest children for the rigors of their Honors college programs. Aside from the well-designed courses available in the MODG syllabi, our consultant was always available to answer questions and to make valuable suggestions when we ran into any difficulties with curricula choices, etc. I felt as if our consultant had met my children and knew them. Her suggestions were quite helpful as we planned out and followed through with each school year. Thank you for your efforts in putting together a program which has been of such value to us in meeting our educational goals for our children.”
