We hope you enjoy reading Laura Berquist's letter about this exciting new addition to our school administration!

Dear Families,

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Mother of Divine Grace School! This is a milestone moment for us all, and we are so grateful to God and Our Lady for their guidance and grace over the years!

As many of you know, we have recently become a non-profit organization. We are very excited about this development, and, as we've discussed with you in the past, we believe that it will enable us to better serve our families in many ways. Among the many changes that this has brought about, I will be taking on a new role as Chairman of the Board of Governors of MODG. I will also continue to serve the school and our community as Founder and Education Director, focused on our mission of classical, Catholic education, and meeting our families' needs in their homes. In anticipation of my new duties as Chairman, I have decided to step down as President.

I am delighted to announce that Paul Lazenby has joined our administrative team and has agreed to serve as my successor in this role. Paul has worked closely with several non-profit corporations, and I know his experience in this field will be extremely valuable. He was the Director of the Annual Fund at Thomas Aquinas College for the last several years and was made Director of Development at the beginning of this year. During his time there he was very successful in communicating the mission of TAC, he worked closely with their Board of Directors, and he has been a successful fundraiser. I know he is going to bring all of that experience and enthusiasm to our community!

Paul’s wife, Kim, is a consultant and a teacher for us, and the Lazenbys are an enrolled family. They know our school well from the inside. Paul told me that he felt called to help us at the beginning of our non-profit adventure. We are truly happy to communicate this good news to you. You will be hearing from Paul directly soon, and I know you will all enjoy getting to know him.

Throughout our history, God has been very good to us, and we have seen His providential care over and over again. I know that this is another example in this exciting new chapter for MODG, and I look forward to working closely with Paul in the growth of our school as we pass the quarter century mark.

May God bless you and all your families,

Laura
