Ronan and Lucian Warenzak, current 8th graders in the MODG program, both earned 1st Place recognition in their local 4-H Mini-Booth Fair Project, in addition to five other awards between them.

"Ronan shared his knowledge of plant propagation through rooting and caring for various plant species," writes Mrs. Warenzak. Ronan was awarded the 1st Place Ribbon in the Very Educational Exhibit, and was also the winner of the Best Floor Display Certificate. He additionally received the 1st Place Award in Garden Project, awarded for outstanding 4-H Exhibit in Plant Sciences. Ronan was also part of the 4-H Georgia Southeast District Forestry Competition and received a Certificate of Achievement in Forestry Judging Junior Division. The Junior Team won 3rd place in the District.

Mrs. Warenzak also writes that "Lucian shared his knowledge of mechanical science by displaying a small 2-stroke engine that he cross-sectioned. He also included visuals in his exhibit to help educate in the engine's parts and care." He won the 1st Place Ribbon in the Very Educational Exhibit, the 3rd Overall Junior Division Display Certificate, and the 3rd Overall Junior Division Display Ribbon.
