Dear Families,

Happy Summer! We'd love to invite your children to join our first MODG Summer Reading Challenge! Read below for details and download this reading log if you'd like to participate. 

Who can enter? Students enrolled in MODG and entering PK-12th grade for the 2026-2027 school year
What are the dates of the reading challenge? June 22nd - August 24th
How do I enter? Read at least six books of your choosing between 6/22-8/24 and submit the attached reading log by 11:59 PM PT on 8/24 to communications@modg.org. 
Are there prizes? Yes! If you have read at least six books and submitted a complete reading log by the deadline, your name will be entered into a random drawing. Three names will be drawn to win prizes - more details on the prizes will be sent later this summer!

We're excited to see what books your children choose this summer, and we hope that more than anything they truly enjoy a summer filled with reading. If you would like some ideas for books to read, our book trees are a great resource for discovering books based on what you already enjoy. We also have a large selection of good books in the literature section of the MODG bookstore.
