No matter where you are in your homeschooling journey, it is always helpful to have a fellow parent offer a listening ear and some advice. Denise Trull, recently wrote a beautiful article for Theology of Home on her homeschooling experience.

In this article, Denise offers heartfelt advice to those just beginning or in the middle of their journey. 

Homeschooling is not for the faint of heart. It is difficult, sometimes tedious. It requires perseverance and daily commitment. It requires a thick but patient skin towards nay sayers. It is sometimes quite exhausting, but then, the best things are. You must enter it with an awareness that it is a mountain to be climbed. But a mountain with lots of startling beauty along the way -- a beauty that is specifically its own and will not be found elsewhere.
