“MODG really sowed the seed, what I read, and learned there, and got out of the discussions with my teachers, it really laid the foundation for where I am today as a criminal prosecutor and then for my long-term goals and the work I hope God will use me to accomplish.”-Camille Callaway

Camille Callaway, MODG Class of 2017 Graduate, joined us this week for another episode of our Light of the Faith webinar. We were thrilled for her to share about her family’s conversion story. She told the story of how their enrollment with MODG began with the pursuit of finding a Latin curriculum that worked for them. This led to discussions about theology, and the beginnings of going to church, RCIA classes and more for her family.

Camille commented about the strong spiritual and physical pull Christ placed on their hearts for the Catholic faith as they awaited coming into the church:

“I remember watching everyone receive the Eucharist, and it was a physical pain not being able to go up and receive. The hardest thing to do was to wait. We entered the church on Easter Vigil. It was definitely an exciting time, and we would not have gotten there without Mother of Divine Grace. It is amazing the work that God does in your life that you have no idea about at the time.”

After MODG, Camille studied at Wyoming Catholic College and then made her way to Baylor Law School. Her motivation behind wanting to defend the vulnerable is remembering the worth of each person bestowed by God. She lives by the reminder to pour out our lives like Christ did for us.

Hearing her story was truly inspirational. What a gift to experience the conversion of your hearts and become part of the body of Christ as a family!

A note for parents: This talk does contain some brief mentions of some mature topics around internet dangers and trafficking.
