We kicked off the fourth season of our Light of the Faith Series with a motivational talk from our beloved Founder, Laura Berquist this week. Her talk, The Beauty in Homeschooling, motivated families to continue this school year with a newfound gratefulness and joy in their hearts.

Laura Berquist not only thoughtfully designed Mother of Divine Grace and its curriculum, but also homeschooled her own children and thus witnessed firsthand the immense amount of beauty and purpose in this vocation. In this talk, she reminded us of the importance of our decision to homeschool our children.

 It is persons, not things, which have the greatest innate and permanent value. Since that is the case, the formation of the soul must be the greatest work that can be done. A soul well-formed and living according to that formation will see God face to face. Nothing could be more important than that.
