For the 2019-2020 school year, MODG will be offering “Medieval History and Literature” with Margaret Hayden, “Encyclicals” with Laura Berquist, “De Anima Part II” with Laura Berquist, and “The Writing Road to Reading” with Cyndi Montanaro. These courses are available to all parents, even “De Anima Part II”, which will include a recap of the first two books prior to delving into Book III.

Consider the Classical Curriculum, Order in the Curriculum, Teaching Tips for younger and older grades, and the importance of reading good literature! Laura also has a parent Health class that is an excellent companion to our student health class or preparation for parents to teach this class to their students in the fall. MODG graduates share their experiences of performing at SEEK 2019, and one talks about the inspiration for his winning song!
High school families are invited to visit Thomas Aquinas College's West Coast campus for an Open House on Saturday, March 2nd!
Several MODG students will be having musical performances at the SEEK 2019 conference in Indianapolis, presented by FOCUS, a Catholic outreach organization. Both Mary Rose Gallipeau (’16) and Andrew Ascough (’16) have qualified as musical semi-finalists for the “Awaken” competition portion of the event. Mary Rose will be performing her original song “Jerusalem My Home” at the Hub Stage at 12:13 PM ET on Saturday, January 5th. Andrew will also be performing his original song “Burn Out” at the Hub Stage at 5:16 PM ET on Saturday, January 5th. (Update: Cecilia Leskowicz, a 2016 graduate from MODG, performed "God Loves".)
Our new Short Stories for Literary Analysis book is available now in our bookstore!
